Utilization of alternative energy sources of coal mines through the introduction of heat pump technologies

ABSTRACT

Research report: 94 pp., 13 tabl., 11 fig., 1 appendix, 33 refernces.

The object of study
state coal enterprises.

The purpose of the workis to increase the energy efficiency of mines by replacing traditional types of energy resources (natural gas and coal) with alternative energy sources, reducing environmental pollution by combustion products of mine boilers, improving working and living conditions of the population.

Comprehensive studies have been conducted to assess the feasibility of implementing heat pump installations at coal enterprises. The research was based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience, analytical research of hydrochemical analysis of water, the study of mining and geological features of minefields, analysis of technical capabilities of coal enterprises, the economic justification for choosing the specifics of equipment, and etc.

The main conclusion is that based on the results of complex research, a technological scheme of an experimental heat pump installation was developed, which utilizes the heat of mine waters for the conditions of the Stepova mine of the Lvivugol State Coal Mining Company. The results of the work will be provided to state enterprise STC Coal Innovation for further elaboration on the possibility of implementing the developed technical solutions.
