Geochemical monitoring of natural ecosystems with the purpose of preventing emergencies

ABSTRACT

Report on the RW: 206 pp., 5 chapters, 22 tables, 77 figures, 132 sources

The object of research is surface sediments (soils), natural waters, atmospheric precipitation, vegetation of natural ecosystems of Ukraine (forest, meadow, steppeand mountain).

The purpose of the work is to carry out geochemical monitoring of natural ecosystems of Ukraine (forest, meadow, steppeand mountain) in order to prevent emergencies.

Research methods are general scientific (analysis of previous studies), a complex of analytical methods: chemical, spectral, atomic absorption, ion selective, ICP-MS, mathematical modeling and others.

We consider emergencies, which are natural, ecological, mixed and technogenic in nature.

Features of migration and concentration of chemical elements in surface sediments, natural waters, atmospheric precipitation and vegetation of natural ecosystems of Ukraine (forest, meadow, steppeand mountain) are highlighted. An assessment and forecast of the geochemical state of environmental objects in the event of emergencies was carried out: natural environmental - global warming, mixed - tectonic activity due to technogenic influence, forest fire, due to careless handling of fire; man-made - environmental pollution. Recommendations on prevention of emergencies in the geochemical sense are provided.
