Geochemistry of essential elements in natural and technogenic landscapes of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine as a basis for biogeochemical zoning

ABSTRACT

Report on the research project: 230 p., 6 chapters, 21 tables, 35 figures, 143 references.

The object of the research is bio-inert systems of natural and technogenic landscapes of the Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine (soils, natural waters, vegetation).

The purpose of the research is to identify the features of the distribution of essential elements in bio-inert systems for the development of the basics of biogeochemical zoning of the territory of Ukraine.

Research methods. General scientific method (analysis of previous studies), full range of analytical methods: chemical, spectral, atomic absorption, ion-selective, ICP-MS, microprobe and others. Physicochemical, geochemical, mineralogical, biogeochemical and microbiological methods. Finding forms of essential elements in the main types of soils of the Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine were studied. Using the method of thermodynamic modeling, data on the migration forms of essential elements in natural waters of the Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine were obtained.
