Forms of heavy metals in the soils of natural and technogenic landscapes of Ukraine

ABSTRACT

Report on the research project: 228 p., 4 chapters, 60 tables, 50 figures, 104 references.

The object of the research: heavy metals in the soils of natural and technogenic landscapes of Ukraine.

The purpose of the research is to investigate the finding forms of heavy metals in the soils of natural and technogenic landscapes of Ukraine.

Research methods: general chemical analysis; atomic absorption analysis; potentiometric analysis, ICP-MS method (using MX radiation during sample preparation).

The results of the conducted research complement the understanding of the factors and mechanism of the formation of heavy metals mobile forms in different types of soils of natural and technogenic landscapes of Ukraine.

Methods for determining the forms of heavy metals in different types of soils in Ukraine have been developed. Research results can be used by business entities and environmental protection organizations to determine the content of heavy metals and their mobile forms in the aeration zone of natural and anthropogenic landscapes; to determine the necessary measures to reduce the flow of heavy metals in the trophic chain "soil-solution-plant"; to develop the principles of geochemical environmental monitoring.
