Geochronology and geochemistry of neoarchean magmatic rocks of the Ukrainian shield

ABSTRACT

Report on the SRW: 143 p., 4 parts, 96 figures, 31 tables, 86 sources.

The object of research is the Neoarchean igneous rocks of the Ukrainian Shield (USh).

The aim of the study is to explain the genesis of the Neoarchaean rocks of the Ukrainian Shield, which bear signs of magmatic origin.

Research methods are mineralogical-geochemical, isotopic dating of accessory minerals and structural-paragenetic.

The report on the topic "Geochronology and geochemistry of Neoarchean magmatic rocks of the Ukrainian shield" includes the results of mineralogical-geochemical, isotopic-geochemical studies and structural-geological crystalline Neoarchean rocks of the Ukrainian Shield, which were performed in the IGMOF named after M.P. Semenenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The obtained data are the basis for substantiation and explanation of geodynamic conditions and material changes in the crystalline basement during the formation of Neoarchean rocks that have signs of magmatic formation. It is shown that the Neoarchaean rocks of the USh with features of genesis by magmatism are hybrid dislocation formations, because their formation took place during several stages of dislocation transformations of the Precambrian substrate. They most clearly record two pulses of formation - 3.2 and 2.8 billion years ago. The final structure of the massifs of the Neoarchean age corresponds to the relict formations, formed during the total transformations of the crystalline basement during the Paleoproterozoic era.
