Council of young scientists

Council of young scientists of the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of NAS of Ukraine (hereinafter - CYS of the National Academy of Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) was created on the basis of Resolution of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine No. 206 dated 23.06.1999 "On the list of measures to replenish the institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with young scientists and strengthen work with young scientists and specialists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" and normative documents of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

In its activities, the CYS of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is guided by the Regulations on the Council of Young Scientists of the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of NAS of Ukraine, approved by the Academic Council on November 10, 2022 (protocol No. 8) and implemented by the Director's Order No. 16 of November 14, 2022.

The work of the National Institute of Scientific Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is coordinated by the director of the Institute of Scientific Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine PONOMARENKO OLEKSANDR MYKOLAYOVYCH.

Priority tasks of the Council

- to contribute to the professional growth of scientific youth of the Institute of Scientific Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

- to represent the interests of young scientists before the directorate, the Academic Council and the trade union committee of the National Academy of Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

- hold scientific conferences, round tables, seminars of young scientists;

- to organize and promote the participation of the youth of the National Academy of Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in various youth contests of scientific works, in scientific conferences, to help with applications for grant support to young scientists;

- to contribute to the solution of the social and everyday living conditions of young scientists;

- to cooperate with the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine or related structures of other scientific institutions of Ukraine.
