Monograph "The Unique Meteorite of Crimea", 2022. Authors: Semenenko V.P., Girich A.L., Shkurenko K.O.

The Publishing House "Scientific Thought" of the NAS of Ukraine published the monograph "The Unique Meteorite of Krymka" in 2022. The authors are scientists from the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of the NAS of Ukraine.

The monograph contains generalized works of domestic and foreign researchers on the study of the Krymka meteorite.

From the first chapter, the monograph captivates the reader with little-known facts from the history of the Krymka meteorite shower and the collection of its samples, mainly by a local enthusiast, Pavel Lavrentyevich Romanyuk. Thanks to him, the process of searching for and documenting meteorite samples was exemplary, as a result of which it was possible to collect so many of them. In the process of reading, it will reveal the secrets of the uniqueness of this meteorite, introduce you to a substance that has not been found anywhere else, while opening the curtain on the history of the origin of minor planets and showing the thorny path of meteorites in space.

After reading this book, everyone will understand why we should study cosmic matter, what its value is and what riches it can bring us.
