X International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists
"IDEAS AND INNOVATIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF EARTH SCIENCES"

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to join the 10th International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "IDEAS AND INNOVATIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF EARTH SCIENCES", which will be held on May 23-24, 2024 in an online format.

The organizer of the conference is the Council of Young Scientists of the Department of Earth Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine.

Over the two days of the conference, the following will be heard: 31 scientific reports were discussed, of which 19 will be presented in English.

Young scientists from the following scientific institutions of the NAS of Ukraine will participate in the conference: Institute of Geological Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Geography of the NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Geophysics named after S.I. Subbotin of the NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation named after M.P. Semenenko of the NAS of Ukraine, State Institution "Scientific Center for Aerospace Research of the Earth" of the Institute of Geophysics of the NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics named after M.S. Polyakov NAS of Ukraine.

The conference will be attended by students and young scientists from the following higher educational institutions and scientific institutions of Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, National Transport University, G.S. Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. Skovoroda, Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory.

The conference will be attended by students and young scientists from higher educational institutions and scientific institutions of other countries: Mexico (Instituto Politecnico Nacional; El Colegio de la Frontera Sur; Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia, Centro Baja California Sur), Canada (Prismo Metals Inc), Nigeria (University of Port Harcourt), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa Science and Technology University), Malawi (Geological Survey Department), Algeria (Farhat Abbas University, Echahid Cheikh Larbi Tebessi-Tebessa University), Australia (Curtin University), Japan (Kyushu University), Poland (Institute of Geological Sciences - Polish Academy of Sciences), Germany (Technische Universitat Berlin), Turkey (Ege University).

At the invitation of the Council of Young Scientists of the Department of Earth Sciences within the framework of The following reports will be presented at the conference by leading scientists of the Department and invited guests:

1) "TRACKING THE PORPHYRY-EPITHERMAL MINERALIZATION TRANSITION USING U-PB CARBONATE DATING" (Catherine Mottram, - University of Portsmouth, UK);

2) "ARCS AND RIFTS - TWO DISTINCT METALLOGENIC SETTINGS" (John Thompson, - PetraScience Consultants Vancouver, Canada; University of Bristol, UK; Cornell University, USA; University of British Colombia, Canada);

3) "EARTH OBSERVATION DATA AND CLOUD PROCESSING FOR LAND DEGRADATION EARLY WARNING: EWALD PROJECT OVERVIEW" (Mykola Lubskyi, - State Institution "Scientific Centre for Aerospace Research of the Earth" of the Institute of Geological Science of the NAS of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine).

The Council of Young Scientists of the Department of Earth Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine is confident that you will be able to find an interesting report/reports in the "Conference Program" to listen to, and if you wish, to take part in their discussion, ask questions, or provide recommendations to young scientists in their further research.
