Department of Exploration and Ecological Geochemistry

Main scientific directions:

Exploration Geochemistry; Environmental Geochemistry; Ecological Geochemistry; Geochemistry of individual elements and their associations in environmental objects of natural and man - made landscapes; Geochemistry of Ore Formation Processes.

 

We offer cooperation in the field of prospecting and environmental geochemistry:

- analytical studies to determine the content of chemical elements and their mobile forms in soils, rocks, water and vegetation;

- ecological-Geochemical mapping of territories with the definition of ecological risk areas;

- local forecasting and geochemical searches of ore and non-ore minerals;

- experimental works on sorption-desorption of heavy metals and other chemical elements and detection of the possibility of their use as natural sorbents;

- ecological assessment of soils and vegetation and identification of territories for growing ecologically clean products;

- statistical processing of geochemical research results;

- construction of maps and other graphic materials.
