Laboratory of gas-liquid phase isotope analysis

    Measurement of argon is carried out after complete melting of the sample using a mass spectrometer MI-1201 IG by the method of isotopic dilution. The resolution of the spectrometer is not less than 1200. The sensitivity when measuring argon is not less than 3^.10^-6 А/Ра.

    Measurement of potassium content in rocks and minerals is carried out using flame& #39;ed photometer of VPF-VTI after dissolving them in mixtures of acids. The lower limit of potassium measurement is 0.01 mg/l.
