M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of NAS of Ukraine

Enrichment laboratory

Department of Precambrian Geology and Geodynamics

The laboratory is engaged in the grinding of rocks and the selection of monofractions of accessory and rock-forming minerals.

Crushing of rocks

At the first stage, the rock is crushed and crushed. The first stage of crushing (maximum size of 80 mm) is carried out in a jaw crusher with an intake opening of 150x180 mm to a size of 40 mm; the second stage - in a crusher with a receiving hole of 100x60 mm to a coarseness of -10 mm. Next, crushing to the required size (-0.65 mm) is carried out in several steps on a DV-200x125 roller crusher.

Fine grinding of samples from 0.2 - 0.3 mm to - 0.074 mm is carried out in a vibrating grinder.

Separation of the rock into a sieve and a concentrate of light minerals is carried out on a KS-0.5 L concentration table.

An electromagnetic separator 138T is used to separate the concentrate into monomineral fractions.
