• ACADEMICIAN EVHEN LAZARENKO — CREATOR OF THE LANGUAGE OF MINERALOGISTS

  The report "Academician Yevhen Lazarenko - the creator of the language of minerals" was delivered at the Solemn meeting of the Academic Council of the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of the NAS of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Mineralogical Society on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of Academician of the NAS of the USSR Yevhen Lazarenko by the President of the Ukrainian Mineralogical Society, Doctor of Geological Sciences. During the meeting, the presentation of the reference book "Ukrainian Nomenclature of Minerals" (Kyiv: Akademperiodika, 2022) took place. Authors - Hanna Kulchytska, Daria Chernysh, Larysa Setaya.

  The event took place on December 8, 2022 in the small conference hall of the Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of the NAS of Ukraine.

• Reference book "Ukrainian nomenclature of minerals" Hanna Kulchetska, Daria Chernysh, Larisa Setaya

  The Academperiodic Publishing House of the NAS of Ukraine has published a reference edition "Ukrainian Nomenclature of Minerals". The reference book was prepared in accordance with the Resolution of the Terminological Commission at the Ukrainian Mineralogical Society (UMS) on the spelling and method of formation of Ukrainian names of minerals. The authors are employees of the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of the NAS of Ukraine, the President of the UMS, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Hanna Kulchytska, and members of the Kyiv Branch of the UMS, Candidate of Geological Sciences, Dariya Chernysh and Larysa Setaya.

  On November 18, 2022, at the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of the NAS of Ukraine, a meeting was held between the President of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician Anatoly Zagorodny, and the Vice-President of the NAS of Ukraine, Head of the Section of Physical, Technical and Mathematical Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician Vyacheslav Bogdanov, with the employees of the Institute.
